The Game Awards are coming! Capping off what has been an amazing year for gamers, the Game Awards looks to celebrate any and everything there is in gaming with an awards ceremony being held on December 8. With categories such as Best Action Game or Best Community Support to even Best Innovation in Accessibility, there is no stone left unturned for us to celebrate come December.
God of War: Ragnarok is slated to be a big winner this awards season, if nominations are any indicator. It leads all games in nominations with 10 followed by Elden Ring & Horizon Forbidden West with 7 each. There were also some welcome surprises for us in nominees in my opinion, such as Stray being up for Game of the Year. That game was extremely fun so I’m excited to see it get some more notoriety with its 6 nominations overall. With 31 categories overall, I am sure that everyone can find a game they haven’t play to check out, but see below for some of my key categories of this year’s slate of the best in gaming.
Who do you think is taking home the big prize in this year’s Game Awards, and what games, if any, do you think were snubbed? Is there any game that you’re gonna take a second look at now that it’s been slated as one of the best? Let us know!
